Touring poets Ish Klein, John Beer, and Paul Killebrew will read their poetry on Saturday, March 20 from 1:00-2:30 p.m. at the Ashland Branch Library, 410 Siskiyou Boulevard.
Ish Klein is a poet and self-taught film and puppet maker. Her poems have appeared in numerous magazines and her films have played at festivals around the world.
John Beer’s poems have appeared in Verse, The Brooklyn Rail, Crowd, Chicago Review, Denver Quarterly, War and Peace, and The Canary. His critical writing has appeared in the Village Voice, Jacket, The Poetry Project Newsletter, and Time Out Chicago, where he works as a theater critic.
Paul Killebrew’s poems have appeared in The Brooklyn Rail, Fence, LIT, and Soft Targets. Born and raised in Tennessee, he now lives in Louisiana, where he works as a lawyer at Innocence Project New Orleans.
